The MB Deep Tissue is exactly what I needed for small, stubborn spots. At 2.5 inches it fits perfectly under my foot and around my glutes, and the extra-firm density gives serious pressure. The cutout surface really grips the skin instead of sliding around, so I can work into the piriformis and psoas more effectively than with a smooth ball. It's small enough to toss in my gym bag, so I use it before and after training. Definitely not for anyone wanting a gentle roll, but great for deep-tissue recovery.
